Wellspring

Wellspring is a leading Centre for the provision of affordable high-quality psychotherapy and counselling to individuals; couples, groups, families and young people.


Scottish association for Mental Health (SAMH)

We work with adults and young people providing mental health social care support, services in primary care, schools and further education, among others.


Joshua Nolan Foundation

JNF offers support, training and advice to people living in Scotland of all ages and gender identity, who may identify as being ‘at risk’ or affected by suicide.


THE SAMARITANS

The Samaritans offer free, confidential advice 24 hours a day, seven days a week.


THE ROYAL EDINBURGH HOSPITAL

The Royal Edinburgh Hospital provides acute psychiatric and mental health services, including treatment for learning disabilities and dementia. Its specialist services include centres for the treatment of eating disorders, alcohol problems and young people’s mental health.


BREATHING SPACE

Breathing Space is a free, confidential helpline service for any individual who is experiencing low mood or depression, or who is unusually worried and in need of someone to talk to.

Breathing Space operates Mon – Thurs between 6pm and 2am and Fri – Mon between 6pm – 6am

YOUNGMINDS (PARENT) HELPLINE

Offers free, confidential online and telephone support, including information and advice, to any adult worried about the emotional problems, behaviour or mental health of a child or young person up to the age of 25.

The helpline operates Mon-Fri 9.30am to 4pm


SOBS (SURVIVORS OF BEREAVEMENT BY SUICIDE)

National charity providing dedicated support to adults who have been bereaved by suicide.
National Helpline 9am to 9pm every day

NHS 24 works in partnership with local NHS Boards out-of-hours services to provide patients with health advice and help when GP practices are closed.
